Content Design (Learning)

Wendy Corbett, BA (Hons), MA, Dip.

Early and mid career

My career started in print media and publishing and evolved to incorporate digital media and publishing.

Education

I studied Design and Visual Communication at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London, Graphic and Multimedia Design at Worcester Art College and Creative Digital Media at The University of Worcester.

Highlights

I’ve worked in London, Australia and Hong Kong (spanning the Asia/Pacific Region), latterly as the Director of Brand Communications for The International Herald Tribune, once owned by The New York Times and Washington Post and now known as the International Edition of The New York Times.

Environmental interests

I worked as the Senior Multimedia Designer for the Urban Environment and Planning Department for Worcestershire and I provide training and support for The University of Worcester’s Digital Sustainability Magazine, a co-creation project by students, staff and community.

What I’m doing now

I work with clients to deliver content and design solutions for digital publishing projects and I’m an Associate Lecturer at The University of Worcester specialising in Digital Publishing + Creative Content.
