‘I was very keen to make something which was the equivalent of say a flower, or a crystal or a shell – not a copy of such, but an equivalent of radiance.
Inspired by the work of Barbara Hepworth and colour research studies by Faber Birren – I designed harmonic compositions in colour and form to work on digital display screens. I have always admired the work of Barbara Hepworth and set out to see if I could follow in her footsteps and design a digital form that had an ‘equivalence of radiance of say a flower’.
